Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

Iris I sent you links to the two new ones on Skype! Check your messages. :sneaky:
Thank you! Found them now :dabbadeedabbadoo:
So where are these from? Did Mr Maus share them himself, or what?

I want to cry!! I was only offline for half a day and when I found out about the show last night, it had already sold out.
In fact I think I am going to go and have a cry now.

I feel guilty listening to Pets in front of my cats.
"Pets" is one of my favourites so far, but the lyrics make me go NOOOO, JOHN, DON'T SAY THAT!!

Fortunately my cat does not self-identify as a "pet" and therefore isn't taking any offence.

Penetration time tonight - definitely.

I hear "Fertilizer (garden of bodies)" and "Now we power plant bodies" - which, cheerfully, makes me think of dead bodies decomposing and becoming fertiliser for plants and thus powering the bodies of plants (plant bodies).

I love this song.

Did I miss The Garden's set? I got there at 8 and there was some girl and a DJ doing weak trip-hop, then Ariel came on, were the garden twins even there? :kebab: Ariel's voice was quite beautiful that night :) The Garden didn't play last night so don't worry, you didn't miss them. Ariel was amazing...

Actually only the nude-torso guy took exception when I, ahem, appropriated the bottle after the gig. And I think he was mainly miffed that I didn't recognise him with his shirt on. The other guys were cool. And R. Stevie forgave me when I told him :)

To be fair to the man, we had more or less the whole of his wine bottle later on (or was that only me and I don't remember it right? Gulp!)
Such a good night, and a great gig :dancparty:
I can still feel my calf muscles from jumping around so much.

Hi everybody. I found this German Spex mag with a John feature in that the lovely Iris has once again kindly translated for us (with some help from the equally lovely flounderblue). :truluv: Hey LL, thanks for uploading the link! :truluv: Always a pleasure to contribute to mausspace. HI must first ...
