Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

I have not seen a thread about movies on this forum! If there is, please let me know. What kind of movies do you folks enjoy? I love just about every genre

I've been enamored with Charlie Chaplin since I was 6...so of course my favorite movies include City Lights and Modern Times

Just watched Ordet by Carl Theodor Dreyer...wow, what a master of light! So good, so detail oriented

I'm curious to see if fellow Maus fans are big into movies, so please discuss :)
Yes, I have loved those movies. But, nowadays, I love to watch some science fictions. It seems very interesting for me.

watched a couple movies, one being Wakefield with Bryan Cranston. it was okay.
Also watched Klown (Danish movie from 2010)...it was funny! It has scenes I won't be able to forget...they must have a wicked sense of humor in Denmark.
Also, picked up the blu-ray for The Color of Pomegranates and it's my favorite release of 2018 so far, as far as blu-rays are concerned

The Colour of Pomegranates is so beautiful - discovered it by accident in the late 90s when I got home from being out somewhere (pub, probably) and was just channel-hopping - luckily caught it just after it'd started. Got it on VHS, then of course DVD which looked tons better... haven't got round to getting a blu-ray player, yet thought - this is the sort of film it's made for, though. Really love the vibrancy of that soviet technicolor film stock...

Paterson might be my favorite movie by JJ. I’m halfway through The Color of Pomegranates—thank you both for recommending it.

Annihilation was predictable and it left a sour aftertaste. I thought it was dumb.
The Endless was pretty good, though
