Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

Very sad to read about Chris Cornell's death :(
he had a great voice and was an all-around talented musician

Re: Chris Cornell, his death forced me to reflect on those old Soundgarden albums. I remember back in the 90s they were one of my biggest hopes for a new Led Zeppelin, inasmuch as we needed another Zeppelin. Superunknown was a monster of an album, I hope that in time it's regarded with the same respect as LZ IV. I remember being so bummed when they broke up, because they were really on a great creative path. But I guess maybe they'd exhausted their energies as a collective unit by that time.

I remember buying and listening to Louder Than Love, their current album when I was in college. I think I played a track or two on my radio show. I liked it ok but didn't really think they'd develop as much as they did.

RRP Chris

No, I'm entirely new to his stuff. I first saw it through your post, and then when I saw someone elsewhere praising it I figured I should fast-track it into my ear holes. I'll be checking out his other stuff soon too.
