Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

I just bought the latest Grails album. Never heard them before but I recalled someone whose opinion I trust recommending them. Loving this album (Chalice Hymnal), listened to it 2.5 times today.

    Grails - Chalice Hymnal

Speaking of Beefheart, I was just listening to Grails' "Deep Politics" album, and noticed a pretty explicit quote from a Beefheart song - a guitar line from the song "Trust Us" (on Vliet's Strictly Personal album). I wonder if if was a true tribute or just a quick steal they hoped no one would notice (it only lasts a few seconds).
